Wilderness Canoe Trip Rates & Options

The pricing for Maine trips typically falls within $150 to $250 per person per day, for group sizes meeting a minimum size of 4 persons. Smaller and personal trips are welcome also but the cost per person is increased. 
There are considerations for discounts for larger private parties, children and limited number of special interest groups, such as non profits.
Included: All canoes and necessary canoeing and camping equipment, any and all camping and access fees, shuttle and transportation into and back from the river, along with all meals being provided on river.
Not included: Personal clothing, sleeping bags, mattress pads, guide gratuities, personal Liquor and purchases, fishing or hunting licenses, any airfare to a meeting location, meals off river or any hotel or motel accommodations. Personal Packing List
Optional: Dinner the night before at my base camp is another additional option before the trip. The rate would vary depending on what would be requested. Choice of meals vary from lobster and claims to…. whatever…. with hors d'oeuvre, wine and desert, to a simple meal of hot dogs and hamburgers with potato chips.
Shuttle service from the Airport in Bangor to my base camp for a minimal fee of $50.
A deposit of 20 percent or $300, which ever is greater, is due to hold a trip date.
All payments and balances are due 21 days prior to trip departure. Trips booked within 21 days must be paid in full.
Cancellation Policy: Trip no shows or those leaving a trip early on their own accord, will not receive a refund of either deposit or balance of payment.
0-59 days prior to trip-deposit is non-refundable
60-90 days- 50 % refundable
90 days or more 75% refundable
MaineGuiding reserves the right to cancel any trip, with a full refund, due to forces of nature or logistical situation that may impend of prevent trip operations.
MaineGuiding is not responsible for additional expenses or travel cost incurred by participants due to schedule or logistical changes stemming from either natural conditions or trip cancellations.
